Today was interesting, first to the adoption center and given an invitation to meet Misha at orphanage 8. We drove there at 12:30 and met with the Chief Doctor of the orphange. She explained some medical information such as his birth, and that his mother is from Tajikstan, the father is not known. A worker then brought him in without me knowing when it was going to happen so I was unable to capture that moment on film. He was a litle afraid at first, but quickly trusted us.
His hair is dark brown but his skin is fair and he has the most beautiful blue eyes that are big and have the longest eyelashes. He is very healthy and seems to be on target developmentally. He is also walking, but wobbly.

Good Luck on your next visit with Hughes!
Don't worry about not being able to capture that moment on film, you will remember it always like it was just a moment ago. That long hard road is all worth it now isn't it. We miss and love you.

Dear Hughes,
The beautiful woman you saw today has loved you for a very long time.
Her long journey to you is now coming to an end and a new moment in her life has been born. Although I am not there to see the beauty of this birth, I imagine the wonder and happiness of my friend whom I miss very much right now.
Love you, Kerstin
Sounds like Shari's in love.:o) So glad you are fianly getting to see him face to face and that he's everything you were hoping We want to hear about his little personality too.
Sorry to hear about you ankle. True that I suppose we couldn't expect this trip to go uneventful.
