Hughes and Izzy were playing in the garage before we left Monday. I found Hughes closing Izzy in the car. This is the face Hughes gets when I ask him to say "cheese".

Here is Shelley trying to put on a swim diaper for Hughes. Then she couldn't wait to give him one of his gifts for the pool, a kickboard.

One of Hughes's favorite gifts was a Harley motorcycle. He is riding it with his new backpack.

Hughes's Birthday

Hughes started his 2nd birthday morning by speaking 2 words together consistently, such as "bye-bye kitty". He just continued all day long. His actual birthday party was the next day. Here are some fun pictures. This is of him enjoying his cake and his new wagon.

Hughes has a popeye look in the sun without his sunglasses. He also loves to be thrown while playing in the pool. He will swim up to you and say "ready"...that translates to please throw me.

Swimming with friends

We enjoyed a day swimming with friends from gym class. It has been really nice to meet and have play dates with these ladies and their children. Hughes had a blast, as usual. Thank you to Chris for taking these pictures and downloading them on my computer to share on the blog.
