I arrived late last night without an problems. This morning I went for a walk, wasn't watching where I was going and twisted my ankle which was extremely painful and huge. I went to the Euro MD who took an xray and my ankle is broken. I am in a cast, but tomorrow is the big meeting day and I will be there for it. For those who know me well, understand that this is par-for-the-course. Hopefully I will post pictures tomorrow.

You've GOT to be kidding me!!!!!!!! A broken ankle in Russia. Of course. Good Golly, woman. This can only be a good omen. Were you wearing your medal? I'll keep praying for you.
Love,
Shelley
Sorry to hear about your ankle. Once you meet Misha/Hughes, it will all be worth the trouble.

Hi Shari,
What a story you can tell your baby when he is older. Mommy broke her ankle and walked in a cast to get to you! You are in our prayers.

Shari,
I'm so happy to hear that you are actually in St. Petersburg to finally meet Hughes William and bring him home.
I'm so sorry to hear about your ankle! I will pray for you - try to keep it up as much as possible (like you don't already know that!)
Cheryl
OMG!!! Hang in there, it'll all be worth it and what a story to use on him when he's a teen (trust me, you'll need it. . . ) Can't wait to see pics of Hughes. Smile! ~Julie
Shari, I had to read your comments twice, I cannot believe it. Will it ever end? Yes, it will and w/ Hughes at your side. I'm thinking of you!

The road to misha is paved with uneven concrete. Leave it to Shari to find it immediatley. In the thesaurus I thought I saw your name under the word courage. You can do this Shari, we all believe in you.
Love, Kerstin
Shari,
This funny remark happened when trying to teach a small adoptee about American food. Jerry Roderick's son, John's, first adoption was about 2-3 years old. Jerry was sitting at a table in the resturant feeding the little boy. Jerry said he loved mashed potatoes, but he wouldn't go near jello.
